In an exhilarating final match of IPL 2023 – which spanned three days due to rains – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat the reigning champions Gujarat Titans (GT). GT scored the highest runs ever in IPL history (214 runs), but not without a superb retalition from CSK. The lightning speed wicket-keeping from Captain Cool (M.S. Dhoni) struck down the orange cap GT batsman, Shubman Gill in just 0.1 seconds. In the rainy 15-over second innings, we thought all hope was lost for CSK, but Sir Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja) miraculously slammed a match-winning 10 runs in the last two balls. CSK truly showed they’re a force to be reckoned with and joined Mumbai Indians by winning the IPL title for the 5th time!
